We all know conflict is going to happen and will occur pretty much anywhere; the office, church, gym, service club, at work and at home.

We also know the high cost of unhealthy conflict on people and organizations and we tend to forget are the missed opportunities when empowering healthy conflict.

The question we probably need to ask is am I (are we) equipped to help resolve unhealthy conflict and empower and facilitate healthy conflict?

CMTC is a three tier, hands on, immediately useable program that is designed for individuals and teams to become confident, trained and ready to manage conflict.

The Capstone Mediation Training + Coaching 3 tier program allows individuals and organizations to begin with an introduction to mediation, understanding the processes, and giving participants the tools they need to be able to self resolve and consider mediating a conflict.

Tier 2 of CMTC presents an intermediate level of mediation training and coaching. It provides participants with more depth on coaching individuals and teams through conflict, a deeper understanding of the Alternative Dispute Resolution model (ADR), and real time communication activations and mediation sessions.

The 3rd tier of CMTC is what we call the advanced level of mediation training and coaching. With significantly more mediation role playing, exploration of more complex elements of mediation including conflict d-escalation, power balancing and coaching techniques and tools.

Often participants start out with only the introduction to mediation in mind but find that their whole new way of looking at conflict and increased confidence to managing it propels them to keep going and taking the intermediate and advanced tiers.

Also we are seeing more organizations developing an “Mediator Manager” role, Organizations are finding that having a “Manager Mediator” role as part of the team is getting conflict out into the open sooner, seeing resolution that actually strengthens relationships and people are more confident with “self help” conflict resolution.
