What is coaching?

What is the difference between coaching and consulting?
Coaching focuses on skill development and mentorship, where consulting involves seeking advice in a very specific field of expertise. While these 2 disciplines may intersect and have overlapping qualities, consulting is mainly information based and coaching is personal development based. Think of coaching like a personal trainer. While he may prescribe exercises for your needs, he also continues to work with you and re-evaluate as needed based on your goals.
What is the difference between your coaching model and programs?
The first major difference between our coaching model and programs is the time frame. Coaching typically involves on ongoing relationship with the client like a personal trainer. Our coaching model is built to suit your unique needs and can be cancelled at any time. However our programs have a specific set of teaching and training objectives. Thus they also have a specific set of hours or sessions to complete the program.
The second major difference is content. Coaching is very dynamic in nature. Our coach will work with you to determine your desired outcomes and goals. Then we craft a plan to help you advance in those goals within your desired timeframe. On the other hand, programs have a very specific coaching curriculum to ensure consistency across your organization.
