Program Overview
Delivered in a personalized one on one or group coaching format, the program is comprised of eight one hour bi-weekly sessions spanning over sixteen weeks. These sessions can be done in person or virtually.
Session 1: Introductory Session - From Fear to Favor
We identify each participant’s unique background and desired outcomes for the program. Your coach will outline the expectations for the program and ask some questions to determine the best way they should proceed through the program content including areas of emphasis. These questions will address: public speaking experience, performance challenges, personal public speaking goals and desired outcomes.
Session 2: What’s the Big Idea?
Craft a compelling Big Idea: this is essential and will allow you to clarify your objective. This is an integral part of the preparation for a highly engaging presentation.
Session 3: Watch Your Language
“What’s the most important language in business or public speaking?”
Discover this in the program and actively engage your audience, overcome resistance and develop rapport so that your audience stays captivated.
Session 4: Hook, Look, Took: Structuring Your Presentation
Moving your audience from their current disposition so they will join you and arrive at a destination that will transform their thinking.
Session 5: Watch What You Don’t Say!
Learn effective strategies and practices for non-verbal communication.
Session 6 & 7: Once Upon a Time…
Stories are the bedrock of human communication. Select, refine and use your personal stories to engage the audience.
Session 8: Landing the Plane
Land with finesse and leave your audience talking.
